INTERNSHIP PROJECT · COLLABORATION
Folio.
Build a CV without having to create an account first. Choose a design, enter your details and work towards a clean PDF.

Less friction.
An easier start.
A student wants to make a CV, not learn a complicated tool first. Folio brings template selection, data entry and a preview into one flow. The editor starts with personal details and guides the user through the other sections.
Most of
the development.
I built most of this website. Translation and the About page were outside my contribution. It is a joint internship project with Jesse Breuers, not a client commission completed on my own.
The visible frontend uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The project brings together templates, input forms, appearance settings and PDF export.
From choice to CV.
- Six CV templates, with the same content behind different designs.
- An editor with separate sections for personal details, education, experience and skills.
- Colour and appearance settings, with a CV preview.
- A PDF download at the end of the flow.
A real project.
A shared effort.
Folio was made during our Software Development internship in Spain and is publicly available. You can explore the website without signing in. The screenshots here come from the live site; the CV in the homepage preview contains example content.
There are no claims here about user numbers, conversion results or guaranteed CV-scanner compatibility. This work sample shows the tool and its interactions.
